Spanjaard TOOL JOINT LUBRICANT

Spanjaard Tool Joint Lubricant is a non-melt, extreme pressure thread lubricant containing high percentages of graphite and molybdenum disulphide.

APPLICATIONS
Spanjaard Tool Joint Lubricant was specifically designed as a thread lubricant for drill rods, other threads and joints to prevent seizing and galling and to facilitate “breakout” of the drill rods after drilling is completed.

The product acts as a sealant allowing no gas or product seepage along the threads.

The main application is on threads in “slim-hole” drilling in quarries, dam construction, surface mining operations and all types of civil construction projects. The drill rods are usually 3 or 6 metres long and have a course “rope type” thread commonly used with Ingersoll-Rand and Atlas-Copco equipment.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Spanjaard Tool Joint Lubricant is applied to threads by finger or brush.

HANDLING AND STORAGE
Store under cover with lid closed away from vibrating floor. Remove excess from skin and wash with Spanjaard Hand Cleaner followed by soap and water.
