Shipping & Delivery Policy

How delivery quotes, dispatch, tracking, delays and handover work across South Africa.

Effective 10 September 2026 · Olympic Cleaning Solutions (Pty) Ltd t/a ShopXP

These terms use plain language for customers. They do not remove any mandatory right you have under South African law. If a mandatory law gives you greater protection, that law prevails.

1. Delivery area

ShopXP currently delivers to serviceable street addresses in South Africa. Certain remote areas, restricted premises, farms, mines or oversized-product destinations may require a special quote, collection point or additional lead time.

We do not deliver to PO boxes. You must provide a complete, accurate address, postal code, contact name and reachable telephone number.

2. Delivery options and charges

Available delivery methods and charges are calculated for your basket and address and shown before payment. Charges can depend on size, weight, value, destination, supplier location and courier service.

Free or discounted delivery applies only where a current promotion or level benefit is expressly enabled and displayed. Eligibility alone is not a promise of free delivery.

3. Dispatch and delivery estimates

The delivery estimate shown at checkout or in your order communication starts after payment verification and stock confirmation. Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and South African public holidays.

Orders containing products from different locations may arrive separately. Special-order, bulky, distributor-supplied or outlying-area deliveries may take longer. Unless expressly agreed in writing, an estimate is not a guaranteed fixed delivery date.

4. Tracking and delivery communication

Where tracking is available, we or the courier will send it using the contact details on the order. Tracking events can take time to update after dispatch.

The courier may contact you to arrange access or confirm directions. Do not pay an unexpected courier charge that was not disclosed by ShopXP; contact us if one is requested.

5. Receiving an order

  • Ensure that you or an authorised person is available to receive and, where appropriate, sign for the order.
  • Inspect the outer packaging at delivery and note visible damage on the courier record where possible.
  • Report an incorrect, incomplete or transit-damaged order promptly, preferably within 48 hours, with photographs. This reporting request does not remove statutory rights.
  • Keep packaging, accessories and serial-number labels while a delivery problem is being assessed.

6. Failed delivery and address changes

Contact us as soon as possible if an address is wrong. We cannot guarantee a change after dispatch. A reasonable redelivery or rerouting charge may apply if delivery fails because the address was inaccurate, access was unavailable or nobody could receive the parcel after reasonable attempts.

We will not redirect a high-value order without appropriate verification. This protects both the customer and ShopXP from fraud.

7. Delays, loss and non-delivery

If an order is materially late, contact hello@shopxp.co.za with the order number. We will investigate with the fulfilment partner and offer the remedy required by applicable law.

If goods cannot be supplied within the agreed period, you may be entitled to cancel and receive a refund. We are not responsible for a courier delay outside our reasonable control, but that does not remove your statutory rights.

8. Risk and ownership

Risk of accidental loss or damage passes when the goods are delivered to you or your authorised recipient. Ownership passes once full cleared payment has been received.
